Kubetz, preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine; his parents, Florence and Adolph; and his brothers, Arthur and Adolph Jr. Dad's words of wisdom and cherished memories will live on with his children, Susan (Martin) Hendrickx, Janet (Philip) Dell and Bruce (Caroline) Kubetz; his grandchildren, Mark, Steven and Heather Hendrickx, Michael, Greg (Eva), Gaye (Steve Lan), Danielle (Michael Odom) and Denise Dell, Michael, Jennifer and Ryan Kubetz; his great-grandchildren, Steven Lan, Shawn, Matthew, Kimberly and Andrea Odom, Elizabeth and Michelle Dell; loving brother of Laverne (Don) Thumel; fond brother-in-law of Betty (Ken) Kula; treasured uncle and friend to many. As a WWII Veteran with the Army's 346th Signal Co. Wing, he received several decorations and citations. He died Wednesday in Michigan City, Ind. Mr. Kilburg, who was an electrical contractor for 35 years, was a member of the Electrical Contractors association. He leaves a widow, Matilda; a son, Harold Jr; and two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Schniedwind and Mrs. Nancy McGinnis.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Donnellan-Fitzgerald-Franklin Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 1962 Old Willow Rd., Northfield.
